Smith & Wesson Model 300 Hinged Cuffs (Blue) – NIJ standard 0307.01 Compliance?
Hello, I have a question about the S&W Model 300 Handcuffs that are in the Blue (that looks like black) finish.
According to the Smith and Wesson official ‘catalog’ (http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore/SmWesson/upload/other/SW_Handcuffs_09.pdf), under the Model 300 Hinged handcuffs, it states that the Blue Finish does NOT meet the NIJ 0307.01 Standard, does anyone know why that is?
As far as I know, the only difference between the model 300 (not including double lock position) are the finish, and only the nickel finish meet the NIJ standard.
Does anyone have any idea why that is?
